To follow up on the last thought from my last post on this website, I did NOT follow up soon after that post. It has been 10 months, roughly, since I posted on this site. I almost didn’t renew the site hosting subscription this time around, but I was still hoping against all odds that I would be able to write again someday. While I am still waiting for full ability to return, I am able to write in short bursts now and while it may take a few sessions to complete this short post, I’ll keep plugging away at it.
I mentioned my recovery from surgery in my last post. I’m still doing that. I am still not 100% recovered and have even had some setbacks in my recovery journey lately. It is wildly frustrating to deal with this and I am turning to some alternative methods of recovery. We’ll see how it goes and I’ll post updates, eventually.
Donald Trump actually defeated Kamala Harris in the 2024 election and so far everything he has done is what I have voted for. Removing illegal aliens, trimming our bloated government, eliminating fraud and waste, and protecting women from being mercilessly displaced by men claiming to be women. Yeah, I voted for all of that.
The current hot-button issue is the “poor Maryland man” who was sent back to his home country of El Salvador. The left is crying about due process and lack of proof of his MS-13 gang membership, but neither of these things even matter. He’s got a deportation order (possibly two) and he was sent back to his home country. The whole controversy of the judge’s order NOT to send him to El Salvador is again ridiculous, since if he is NOT an MS-13 gang member then he should have no fear from the “rival gang” that was mentioned in the order. You just can’t have it both ways.
There is still a lot of antisemitism on college campuses, but now some colleges are beginning to pay for it through the loss of federal grant money. Yes, I voted for this, even though I work in academia. If you want to get federal money, you have to follow federal guidelines and laws. It really is that simple.
Wow…it’s December 30th, 2025, and I am just now following up on this post. LOTS of stuff happening in our world, not much of it good. I’m going to close this and post it to the website, just to say I posted something in 2025. Hurrah!
